Now, this is a great deal for all you Park Slope food gourmets [and gourmands] licking your chops out there: a charity event raising loads of dough for organizations such as Brooklyn Arts Exchange, P.S. 51, and The Old Stone House…
What’s Going On? A sumptuous sampling of delicious food from 25 [at last count] terrific Fifth Avenue Park Slope restaurants, including La Di Da, Blue Ribbon, Eagle Provisions [their kielbasa sausage is to die for!], Fornino, Blue Sky Bakery, or KiKu Sush. There’ll be complimentary beer and wine as well.
Details: Wednesday, April 18th, starting at 6:30, ending around 9:30.
$35 a ticket [information and purchases available through the website]
$20 dollars goes to the non-profit Fifth Avenue BID member of your choice
There’ll be music and dancing, too.
Event takes place in the monumental Grand Prospect Hall [bet. 5th-6th Avenues]
This writer watches his pennies, perhaps too frugally, but not in this case: this promises to be worth every cent. See you there!
