| Please join us at the 3rd Annual ABWA 5k Walk for Blood Clot Awareness Month!It is being held onSaturday, March 31 at Prospect Park in Brooklyn! Approximately 350,000 to 600,000 Americans suffer from blood clots each year, and at least 100,000 deaths may be directly or indirectly related to these diseases. African Americans are at higher risk to develop blood clots than other communities. Our very own, Traci Wilkes Smith survived a blood clot at just 25 years old. Heavy D just passed away. Serena Williams suffered a blood clot and countless other amazing individuals. Please help us raise awareness about about this important cause.How you can help!
