Some homes of the most notable nightlife in the Park Slope community include Barbes, located in the South Slope area of Park Slope at 9th St. and Sixth Ave. This highly specialized club focuses on music from different diversities, such as French, Columbian and Brazilian. This music is designed to get guests out of their chairs and onto the dance floor.

The Bell House is another establishment with live music acts and two different dance areas. Each area focuses on different types of music. The front bar plays music that has an electro-pop beat while the club proper hosts many different ‘80’s and ‘90’s music nights where guests are encouraged to dress like they are living in that era once again. This club is located in Brooklyn on 7th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

Littlefield is unique because it runs solely on energy received from a windmill. This is one of the most laid back lounges in the area. In order to keep things hopping, this establishment also has theme nights where the guests dress the part and the club is thumping. To visit Littleton, go to DeGraw Street, between 3rd and 4th Ave. Littlefield is considered one of the best bars around.

Southpaw is a music venue where many people host parties of all kinds. Those that appreciate the earliest form of soul music, from the ‘60’s, need to stop in on the 4th Saturday of each month for some of the grooviest times around.
